There is a myriad of plumbing issues people experience that they can’t solve by themselves. Here are the most pressing plumbing questions.
Why Does the toilet keep running?
We get many phone calls from people asking this question. In many cases, the problem is due to the flapper’s failure to close or seal around the flush valve correctly. If you notice the flapper did not close, jiggling the handle will solve the issue.
If you have a worn-out flapper, you’ll have to replace it. If the flapper doesn’t work correctly, then there will be no seal. That means the water will leak into the toilet and the tank will not be filled up to force the float up and lock water supply. Call us, and one of our professional plumbers will be able to assist.
Are chemical drain cleaners safe to use?
If you look at the back of the packages, you’ll find at least three warning labels. That means drains are extremely toxic. They are not good products, especially if your kids or pets touch or play with them. The chemicals are also harmful to your pipes, causing them to deteriorate and wear out from the inside out.
Your drain lines may have to be replaced sooner than they are supposed to. There’s a better solution, certain enzymes and friendly bacteria products that can break and keep off grease and sludge buildups inside your pipes.
What Goes into the Garbage Disposal?
Garbage disposals can only break up soft debris. Things like cooked carrots, mashed potatoes, etc. are okay to put in the garbage disposal. Bones, eggshells, or any other hard products will wear out the blades and damage the system.
Whenever you dispose of foods through the disposal, run water to help it break them down and flush them through the drain. If you experience problems with your disposal, call us.
Why is my drain clogged?
Drains often get clogged because you are not careful with what you drop in there. Bathroom drains get clogged due to soap and hair residues.
It’s recommended that you be careful with what goes into your drain and always use a safe cleaner to clean them. Again, if you experience a problem with your drain, we are a call away!
Why do we run out of hot water so fast?
It depends on the age and type of your heater or some other reasons. Electric water heaters consist of top and lower elements. Chances are the lower element, or the top element stopped working, and you have no hot water.
A reset button could have also caused the problem on your heater, or your dip tube, if you have a gas water tank, could have gotten shorter over the years. We can still fix these kinds of problems with your hot water tank. Call Fast AZ
for a speedy solution.

When you own a home, it can be very expensive, and you don't want to hear that your pipe needs to be repaired. If that's the case, it's only a matter of how much it will cost. In the past, underground pipe repair required several days and a lot of digging, as well as significant property damage. Now, trenchless pipe repair allows plumbers to fix a pipe in less than a day with minimal digging. While this technique is becoming more common, many homeowners have questions. Here are some things to consider. Expenses up front It is also possible to choose a plumber more easily because traditional pipe repair is more common. A traditional pipe repair typically costs $50 to $250 per foot, not including the cost of repairing the property. In trenchless pipe repair, there are two methods available: Lateral Pipe Lining: This method uses an existing pipe, and adds an epoxy layer to cover cracks and irregularities in the pipe, creating a new pipe. The cost of lateral pipe lining can range from $80 to $250 per foot. Bursting: Using a pneumatic or hydraulic head, this method destroys the old pipe and replaces it with a new one. It is usually cheaper than lateral pipe lining, ranging between $60 and $200 per foot of pipe replaced. Traditional repair methods appear to be cheaper on paper, but they aren't always the most cost-effective. Uncovering hidden costs There are costs associated with traditional pipe repairs that are not included in the initial estimate. The cost of excavating the old pipe, for example, may not be included, or another contractor may be required. In addition, moving any heavier objects that are over the sewer line can be costly. In the end, even though the initial cost covers everything, it probably won't cover the cost of repairing a driveway or landscaping that is damaged. Homeowners often pay thousands of dollars to get their property back to the way it was. Trenchless repairs avoid these costs because they are minimally invasive. No ground is ripped up, and no additional work is required. When it comes to repairing a broken pipe, trenchless repairs are generally cheaper, more cost-effective, and easier to perform.
